With just three days left until Mad Max: Fury Road hits theaters, Warner Bros. has released two new featurettes which explore some of of the most important supporting characters in writer-director George Miller's apocalyptic adventure. First up are the Five Wives, played by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Zoë Kravitz, Riley Keough, Courtney Eaton and Abbey Lee, who Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne) wants to use to create a male heir to his empire. We also learn much more about Nicholas Hoult's Nux, one of Immortan Joe's War Boys.

From director George Miller, originator of the post-apocalyptic genre and mastermind behind the legendary Mad Max franchise, comes Mad Max: Fury Road, a return to the world of the Road Warrior, Max Rockatansky. Haunted by his turbulent past, Mad Max (Tom Hardy) believes the best way to survive is to wander alone. Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa (Charlize Theron). They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne), from whom something irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War that follows.

We also hear from writer-director George Miller, who adds new insight into this apocalyptic world he created, along with plenty of new footage from Mad Max: Fury Road, which hits theaters May 15.
