With the July 1 release date rapidly approaching, Warner Bros. has released the second trailer for their upcoming sequel Magic Mike XXL. Channing Tatum returns as the title character, along with returning Magic Mike stars Matthew Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Kevin Nash and Adam Rodriguez. The sequel features plenty of new cast members as well, including Amber Heard, Elizabeth Banks, Jada Pinkett Smith, Andie MacDowell and Donald Glover.

Picking up the story three years after Mike bowed out of the stripper life at the top of his game, Magic Mike XXL finds the remaining Kings of Tampa likewise ready to throw in the towel. But they want to do it their way: burning down the house in one last blow-out performance in Myrtle Beach, and with legendary headliner Magic Mike sharing the spotlight with them. On the road to their final show, with whistle stops in Jacksonville and Savannah to renew old acquaintances and make new friends, Mike and the guys learn some new moves and shake off the past in surprising ways.

Channing Tatum also produces the sequel and co-wrote the script with Reid Carolin. Gregory Jacobs, who served as first assistant director on the original Magic Mike, takes the helm for this sequel. In addition to the trailer, we also have a new poster that is inspired by the classic Star Wars one-sheets, featuring all of the main characters.
