Last month, Sony Pictures and MGM unveiled the second trailer for The Magnificent Seven, the studios' highly-anticipated remake which hits theaters on September 23. With the release date just over a month away, we now have a new TV spot, which breaks down the different members of the group. Denzel Washington's Sam Chisolm is the bounty hunter, with Chris Pratt's Josh Farraday identified as the gambler of the group.

With the town of Rose Creek under the deadly control of industrialist Bartholomew Bogue (Peter Sarsgaard), the desperate townspeople employ protection from seven outlaws, bounty hunters, gamblers and hired guns - Sam Chisolm (Denzel Washington), Josh Farraday (Chris Pratt), Goodnight Robicheaux (Ethan Hawke), Jack Horne (Vincent D'Onofrio), Billy Rocks (Byung-Hun Lee), Vasquez (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), and Red Harvest (Martin Sensmeier). As they prepare the town for the violent showdown that they know is coming, these seven mercenaries find themselves fighting for more than money in Sony Pictures' remake of The Magnificent Seven.

Antoine Fuqua directs from a screenplay by Nic Pizzolatto (True Detective) and Richard Wenk. The producers are Roger Birnbaum and Todd Black. The movie unites director Antoine Fuqua and Denzel Washington for a third time following the critically-acclaimed Training Day and The Equalizer. This remake is truly going to be One Wild Ride! We reported just yesterday that Antoine Fuqua has come aboard yet another remake, directing Universal's moderday Scarface reboot.

Even though Denzel Washington and Antoine Fuqua have worked together several times, the director still had to convince the actor that he should star in this remake. The filmmaker pitched Denzel this project by telling him to envision an image of the actor riding over the hill on a black horse, while playing a hip-hop version of Ennio Morricone's iconic theme song, which convinced him to take on this project. The director also revealed that temperatures reached over 110 degrees while production was under way last year in New Orleans, and that Denzel Washington formed a "special bond" with his character's gun, a Colt .45 Peacemaker, which the actor reportedly took everywhere with him.

Haley Bennett, Luke Grimes, Wagner Moura and Matthew Bomer round out the supporting cast of this remake. This action-packed Western will go up against Warner Bros.' Storks in theaters on September 23. It will also face a number of movies opening in limited release, such as Disney's Queen of Katwe, Broad Green Pictures' The Dressmaker and Magnolia's The Lovers and the Despot. Take a look at the new TV spot for The Magnificent Seven, and stay tuned for more on this upcoming remake.
