‘Maleficent’ Trailer!

From Disney comes Maleficent, the untold story of Disney's most iconic villain from the 1959 classic Sleeping Beauty. A beautiful, pure-hearted young woman, Maleficent (Angelina Jolie) has an idyllic life growing up in a peaceable forest kingdom, until one day when an invading army threatens the harmony of the land. Maleficent rises to be the land's fiercest protector, but she ultimately suffers a ruthless betrayal-an act that begins to turn her pure heart to stone. Bent on revenge, Maleficent faces an epic battle with the invading king's successor and, as a result, places a curse upon his newborn infant Aurora. As the child grows, Maleficent realizes that Aurora holds the key to peace in the kingdom-and perhaps to Maleficent's true happiness as well.

      @stefanos Yes, The movie is likely in either post production now or its been competed by now, and in post production they fix the cgi to make it look right. So, when the movie is released it will look better then it does to some people in the teaser trailer.

              @stefanos Well, This is only the teaser trailer, so when the teaser trailer was being put together, its possible that some cgi is not finished. But really, in all honesty, the cgi looks finished to me.

              @kguy Agreed.

              @bane5000 I believe she may turn into the Dragon in the movie. But, I could be wrong though.

              @ed-wood@2movieguys Yes, Very cool indeed!

                              @Brizzy I could not agree more :) . It looks visually stunning! This movie looks like it could have to the potential, to be better then movies like Oz: The Great and Powerful, Alice in Wonderland, etc. I have got to say I am truly very very impressed with how this movie looks, just from what is shown the teaser trailer. Which that isn't even a whole lot of footage from the movie!

                                Not bad for a first time director.

                                      neat

                                      I still remember Mia Farrow playing the animated version of the character

                                      I wonder though, would Charlize Theron have been a better casting choice since she was also an evil queen in 'Snow White & The Huntsman'?

                                      well, with this we'll find out if Jolie can pull it off

                                        @bawnian-dexeus Agreed. Looks about how I was expecting, but the visuals looked akin those of Jack the Giant Slayer...

                                          Uhhh...Hmm. Ok. First, Jolie looks and sounds great as Maleficent so I don't really need any more convincing to watch the movie. Not that I wasn't going to, but the execution of the character was strong.

                                          Second, that CGI looked cheap. I mean, I don't want to sound like I could do a better job, because I honestly couldn't if I wanted to. But, come on Disney, who is doing your visuals? Snow White and the Huntsman had better visuals and that movie came a from a studio that at the end of the day doesn't hold a candle to what you can accomplish on the big screen each year.
