Actress Marcia Gay Harden has signed on to star in director Juan Feldman's indie drama The Librarian.
The actress will play a timid librarian who takes a trip to Costa Rica to try and avert a midlife crisis. She accidentally hires a womanizing philosopher to take her around the country.
Juan Feldman is directing from a screenplay by Joel Silverman. Here's what the director had to say about Costa Rica's natural healing power.
"It's a magical place and one that really does have the natural power to help restore a person. The common greeting there are the words 'pura vida' - pure life."
Production begins next month, on location in Costa Rica.
