Maria Bello and Stephen Dorff have boarded the indie thriller Carjacked, directed by Peter Medak, according to Variety.

Written by Sherry Compton and Michael Compton, the film centers on a single mother and child who are carjacked by a bank robber who has no intention of letting them go.

Production starts next month in Baton Rouge, La.
