A returning NBC series will also see the return of the two lead cast members. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit lead actors Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni have both signed deals to return for the series' 11th season.

It was said that Hargitay and Meloni, who have both regularly negotiated their deals together, have both signed one-year deals, with an option for a second year. The stars' deals come a month after NBC came to terms with Dick Wolf Productions to continue the series for an 11th season.

The trade is also reporting that Christine Lahti has signed a deal to portray an assistant district attorney on the series for the new season's first four episodes. Stephanie March will return as ADA Alexadra Cabot after Lahti's run is over.
