Mark Pellington is at peace with his new project. According to Variety, Pellington has signed on to direct the thriller Solace for New Line Cinema.

The story centers on a doctor with psychic abilities whose help is requested by the police in trying to find a serial killer. Pellington is directing from a script by Sean Bailey and Ted Griffin.

No production schedule was announced for the film. Pellington recently directed Henry Poole is Here, and he also directed The Mothman Prophecies and Arlington Road.
