Mark Romanek directing Locke & Key pilot for FoxDeadline reports that Never Let Me Go director Mark Romanek will direct the pilot for Fox's new series Locke & Key.

We reported a few weeks ago that Fox gave the green light to the show, which is an adaptation of Joe Hill's graphic novel. Josh Friedman is adapting the book, which centers on three brothers that live in a mysterious mansion, where they unlock some very dangerous secrets.

Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman are executive producing the pilot, although no casting news was announced yet. A production schedule hasn't been released yet either.

Deadline also reports that another high-profile pilot, Syfy's Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome, has landed a director with Jonas Pate. The series will focus on the formative years of William Adama. No production schedule was released for this particular pilot.
