Marlon Wayans has taken the lead role in director Harmony Korine's upcoming independent surrealist comedy Twinkle, Twinkle. According to The Warp, the comedian will portray an ex-hitman who likes to dress himself in a one dollar bill costume.

Not much more is known about this upcoming project, as no further plot details were given. Korine is the creative mind behind such original works of absurdity as Julien Donkey-boy and the recent Trash Humpers, which Netflix is refusing to carry due to its "inappropriate content."

Twinkle, Twinkle is rumored to carry a more narrative structure than some of Korine's past works, taking a cue from his critically acclaimed 2007 drama Mister Lonely, which followed the lives of celebrity impersonators. Twinkle, Twinkle will begin production in Nashville, TN, later this year.
