The Hobbit: The Battle of The Five Armies star Martin Freeman hosted NBC's Saturday Night Live last night, where he reprised his role as Bilbo Baggins in a parody sketch dubbed The Office Middle Earth. After saving Middle-earth, Bilbo (Martin Freeman, Gandalf (Bobby Moynihan), Gollum (Taran Killam), Legolas (Kyle Mooney) and Tauriel (Kate McKinnon) take up office jobs. This is not only a parody of The Hobbit trilogy, but also of the original U.K. series The Office, which Martin Freeman starred in.

In the sketch, Bilbo reveals his hatred for Gollum, as he pulls a few office pranks on his co-worker. Unfortunately, original The Office creator and star Ricky Gervais didn't stop by to put in an appearance, but it's still a humorous take on both The Hobbit trilogy and The Office. This was the last Saturday Night Live episode of 2014, although it isn't known yet who will host the first 2015 episode, and when it may air.

Check out this humorous parody sketch from Saturday Night Live, which offers a unique look at the world of Middle Earth. The Hobbit: The Battle of The Five Armies hits theaters nationwide on December 17. Stay tuned for more footage from this highly anticipated franchise finale before heading to theaters on Wednesday.
