While promoting her FX animated comedy series Archer at the TCA Winter tour over the weekend, actress Judy Greer revealed new details about Marvel's Ant-Man. The first trailer was released earlier this month, but the actress says she hasn't seen it yet. She did talk about how much comedy was used on set, even though she doesn't know how much will be included in the finished film. Here's what she had to say below.

"I haven't seen it yet but there was a lot of comedy on set and we did a lot of comedic improv. I don't know what will end up in the movie, but yeah."

While she is no stranger to big-budget movies, with roles in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and the upcoming Tomorrowland and Jurassic World, Ant-Man marks Judy Greer's first foray into the superhero world. She revealed that Ant-Man was the first comic hero that she thoroughly researched.

"I just love me some Ant-Man! Paul (Rudd) is so awesome and he's so great in this role. This has been my first comic hero that I've really researched and fallen for. I also think the Ant-Man origin story that we tell in our movie is really beautiful and I think there's something really real about a man trying to better himself for his family."

In Ant-Man, Judy Greer plays Maggie, the ex-wife of Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) who shares custody with their daughter Cassie (Abby Ryder Fortson). In the Marvel comics, Cassie eventually becomes Giant Girl, a.k.a. Stature. It remains to be seen if an Ant-Man follow-up will happen, or if Judy Greer will return as Maggie, but we'll be sure to keep you posted on this potential sequel as soon as we have more information.
