With production already under way on Marvel's Daredevil, Marvel and Netflix are currently meeting with potential cast members to fill out two of their remaining three superhero shows, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage.

Actresses Krysten Ritter (Breaking Bad), Alexandra Daddario (True Detective), Teresa Palmer (Warm Bodies) and Jessica De Gouw (Arrow) have been invited to read for Jessica Jones, with all of the actresses falling between the 25-33 age range listed on the breakdown.

Melissa Rosenberg (Twilight, Dexter, Birds of Prey) is writing and producing the series, which follows the title character suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, which causes her to retire as a superhero and form her own detective agency where she helps out other heroes. Deadline reports that Luke Cage will also appear in six or seven of the 13 Jessica Jones episodes, before moving on to his own series.

Speaking of Luke Cage, Lance Gross (Crisis) and Mike Colter (Halo: Nightfall) are both in contention to play the title character, although it isn't known if there is a front runner that has emerged between the two actors.

Interestingly enough, the site also reports that Jessica Jones will be the second Marvel/Netflix series, following Marvel's Daredevil, with Luke Cage set to be the last, leaving Iron Fist as the third series, although we haven't heard any casting details about that show. All four characters will then come together for The Defenders mini-series
