Walt Disney Pictures and Marvel Studios has announced dates for two untitled Marvel movies, the first coming May 6, 2016 and the second one set to debut on May 5, 2017.

No further details have been released, with the identity of these two mystery movies being kept under wraps for the foreseeable future. The two films will make up the second half of Marvel's Phase Three slate of films, which already includes The Avengers 2, with a confirmed release date of May 1, 2015. This will be followed by Ant-Man debuting on November 6, 2015.

These new release dates fall in line with Marvel's successful tradition of opening films in early May, including the billion-dollar hits Marvel's The Avengers and Marvel's Iron Man 3.

Marvel looks forward to announcing more details about their 2016 Untitled Marvel Film and their 2017 Untitled Marvel Film, as well as The Avengers 2 at a later date. Speculation will now run wild as to which two films these mystery movies could be. Are we seeing the release dates for Doctor Strange and Black Panther? Or is Marvel packing one heck of a surprise?
