It seems that Kick-Ass director Matthew Vaughn could be doing yet another comic book film next. Latino Review is reporting that Vaughn will be directing the comic book adaptation of Bloodshot as his next film. Here's an excerpt from the story.

There are two volumes of the comic with slightly different stories. The movie will focus on Volume 2. Bloodshot is about a reanimated government assassin killing machine named Angelo. Vaughan is writing along with Jane Goldman who wrote Stardust and Kick-Ass for him. Vaughan is fully financing and intends to cast the film late summer. William Morris/Endeavor did the deal. And Millar has nothing to do with it. As El Taco entiende, Vaughan doesn't like Millar's pathological lies either.

Meanwhile, comic book creator Mark Millar, who created the Kick-Ass comic book which Vaughn directed the film adaptation from, posted a message on his official website denying the rumor. Here's part of the message Millar left.

...where the guy claims Vaughn is doing a Valiant book called Bloodshot next and not working with me on the Leinil Francis Yu project we're launching in September. It's totally insane. I remember Vaughn being offered this months back, but he turned it down along with a number of other projects he was offered and is starting work on the screenplay for the Leinil project in the next couple of weeks. We talked about it on the phone this morning.

We'll be sure to keep you posted on this story or any future projects that Mark Millar or Matthew Vaughn have lined up as soon as we have more information.
