The Asylum is continuing its beloved Mega Shark franchise with this summer's Mega Shark Vs. Kolossus, following 2009's Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus, 2010's Mega Shark Vs Crocosaurus and last year's Mega Shark vs. Mecha Shark. Today we have the Japanese trailer for Mega Shark Vs. Kolossus, which seems to indicate that this monstrous shark may have finally met his match in Kolossus, a massive robot that suddenly emerges from the sea. Unlike the huge robot Jaegers in Pacific Rim, this Kolossus is not piloted by anyone, and is set to unleash its fury on both land and sea.

In search of a new energy source, Russia accidentally reawakens the Kolossus - a giant robot doomsday device from the Cold War. At the same time, a new Mega Shark appears, threatening global security. Now the world must figure out how to stop the deadly giants before they destroy everything on land AND sea. Make sure you watch this trailer until the very end, so you can see just how powerful Kolossus really is.

Illeana Douglas and Brody Hutzler star in this ensemble cast alongside Clare Grant, Alison Haislip, Jeff Hatch, Amy Rider, Milynn Sarley, Ernest Thomas and Rileah Vanderbilt. This action-thriller arrives on VOD formats and DVD on June 7. Check out the first footage below, and let us know what you think of Mega Shark Vs. Kolossus.
