Talk about your October surprises. Famed documentarian Michael Moore has a Donald Trump movie waiting in the wings. And if all goes according to plan, he will release it this Friday. Though, how many people will actually watch this expose on the presidential candidate has yet to be determined. And it's not exactly what you might think.

The documentary in question is called Michael Moore in TrumpLand. The movie is not the typical Michael Moore expose. It is said to be based on a one-man play Moore attempted to mount at Newark's Midland Theatre in Ohio. As Moore tells it, the theater's management shut down the show and kept the filmmaker off the stage, deeming his play 'too controversial'. Here is the official synopsis for the movie.

"See the film Ohio Republicans tried to shut down. Oscar-winner Michael Moore dives right into hostile territory with his daring and hilarious one-man show, deep in the heart of TrumpLand in the weeks before the 2016 election."

Michael Moore will be showing the movie for the first time tonight, Tuesday October 18, at the IFC Center, just one night before the third and final Presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. The director is said to be in the editing room right this moment editing and mixing sound. He is in a mad rush to get the film completed for the IFC Center debut which kicks off at 9:30pm EST.

Michael Moore hired a last minute publicist for his Donald Trunmp movie, who is charting press screenings in Los Angeles and New York heading into the weekend. While the movie is set to play in Los Angeles and New York, Deadline says it will also be available on iTunes by Friday. Here are a few tweets from Michael Moore himself.
