We haven't seen much more since the full Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation trailer launched last month, but thankfully we have a new TV spot today with never-before-seen footage. This video gives us our first look at Jeremy Renner, who explains to Alec Baldwin's character that Tom Cruise's Ethan Hunt is deep undercover. Ethan and his team's mission in Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation is to take down The Syndicate, a "rogue nation" of spies trained to do exactly what the Impossible Mission Force (IMF) does.

Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol stars Simon Pegg (Benji Dunn) and Ving Rhames (Luther Stickell) also reprise their roles, along with new cast members such as Rebecca Ferguson, America Olivo, Sean Harris, Jingchu Zhang and Simon McBurney. And, in case you missed it in the first trailer, this TV spot gives us another look at Tom Cruise's latest death-defying stunt, where he is literally hanging off the side of a moving airplane.

Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation was initially set for a Christmas Day release, before Paramount moved it up to July 31 earlier this year. While Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol fared quite well with a Christmas release, taking in $694 million worldwide in 2011, this sequel could have what it takes to top $1 billion globally. Check out the latest footage below, and stay tuned for more from Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation.
