Russian actor Vladimir Mashkov has been added to the cast of the fourth Mission: Impossible movie, according to The Wrap.

The actor, best known stateside for his role as the villain in Behind Enemy Lines, will portray a Russian secret agent in the new sequel opposite Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt. Ving Rhames will reprise his role of Luther Stickell from the first three films and Simon Pegg returning as Benji Dunn from Mission: Impossible III. The cast also includes franchise newcomers Jeremy Renner and Paula Patton.

Brad Bird is directing the sequel from a script by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec. Filming was said to start later this year, with shooting to take place in Prague, Dubai and Vancouver.
