After appearing in the magical Disney adventure Tomorrowland earlier this summer, young actress Raffey Cassidy takes the beloved role of Molly Moon in an adaptation of Georgia Byng's best selling novel Molly Moon and the Incredible Book of Hypnotism. Today we have an exclusive clip where young Molly makes a fascinating discovery, one she tries to hide from a nefarious bank robber named Nockman (Dominic Monaghan). The adaptation hits theaters on August 14 from ARC Entertainment.

Molly Moon and the Incredible Book of Hypnotism tells the story of a young orphan girl, Molly Moon, who comes across a book 'Hypnotism, An Ancient Art'. Learning its lessons, she hypnotizes her way to stardom in London and becomes rich and famous. But little does she know that an unscrupulous man wants her book. He tracks her to London, kidnaps her dog, Petula and blackmails Molly. In order to get her dog back, she must rob Shorings Bank of all its jewels! And then she must find the friends she has lost from her hypnotic journey.

Based on the first in the six-book Molly Moon series, Molly Moon and the Incredible Book of Hypnotism by Georgia Byng, the film was written by Georgia Byng, Christopher N. Rowley (Bonneville), Tom Butterworth (The Last Legion) and Chris Hurford (Fortitude), and is directed by Christopher N. Rowley. The film stars Raffey Cassidy (Tomorrowland), Emily Watson (The Theory of Everything) and Dominic Monaghan (The Lord of The Rings: The Return of The King).

The supporting cast includes Joan Collins, Anne-Marie Duff, Ben Miller, Celia Imrie, Sadie Frost, Lesley Manville and Omid Djalili. It isn't known if ARC Entertainment plans on adapting the other five books in Georgia Byng's novel series. That will likely depend on how well Molly Moon and the Incredible Book of Hypnotism performs at the box office next weekend.
