Writer-director Wes Anderson has firmed up the cast for Moonrise Kingdom, with Jason Schwartzman being the latest cast member to sign on.

We reported in November that high-profile actors such as Bruce Willis, Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Tilda Swinton, and Frances McDormand were in negotiations to join Moonrise Kingdom. It was confirmed today that they have all signed on.

Moonrise Kingdom centers on two young lovers in the 1960s who run away from their idyllic New England town. When the town leaders are convinced the youngsters are simply missing, they organize a search party to find them. Our earlier report indicated that Bruce Willis will play the town sheriff, who is having a secret affair with Frances McDormand's character, the mother of the missing girl. Edward Norton is set to play a Boy Scout leader who brings his Scouts along to join the search party, while Bill Murray will play the girl's father. It isn't clear what roles Jason Schwartzman or Tilda Swinton will play yet.

Wes Anderson will direct from a script he co-wrote with Roman Coppola. Production will begin sometime this spring in Rhode Island.
