Morgan Freeman Is Seeing ‘Red’

Actor to join Bruce Willis in the film based on the WildStorm/DC Comic.
BY |

Variety reports that Morgan Freeman might be starring with Bruce Willis in Summit Entertainment's Red. The film is based on the WildStorm/DC Comic.

Lorenzo di Bonaventura (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen) is producing this film from a script by Erich and Jon Hoeber.

The comic was written by Warren Ellis and illustrated by Cully Hamner.

It was a three-book series that was published in 2003 and 2004. It centers on a former black-ops CIA agent who is now living a quiet life in retirement. Things change when a high-tech assassin appears on the scene with every intention of killing him.

Pretty good news. Freeman and Willis, sounds like a good cast to me.

@J.A Ottley: Yes, Willis is the retired agent. Paul Moses. The miniseries is great, an action packed, well-written and well-drawn 3 issued deal. They can't screw it up. Yes, it's THAT awesome.

          Morgan Freeman and Bruce Willis.

That's enough for me at the present moment.

So i take it that Morgan freeman is the assassin, because the retired agent has a bald head and some hows i can't imagine a bald-headed Freeman.

So Willis must be the retired agent
