Crazy Heart

The story centers on a down-on-his-luck, alcoholic country music singer (Bridges) who is able to get his life and career back on track through his relationship and experiences with a female reporter (Gyllenhaal). Based on the debut novel by Thomas Cobb.

Composer and producer T Bone Burnett will produce original music for the film and soundtrack.

‘Crazy Heart’ Blends Music and Drama on DVD and Blu-ray on April 20th

You can watch Jeff Bridges in his Academy Award winning role from the comfort of your own home next month. Crazy Heart will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on April 20. The standard DVD will be priced at $29.98 SRP and the Blu-ray, which will come with a Digital Copy of the film, will be priced at $39.99 SRP. The film stars Jeff Bridges, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Robert Duvall and Colin Farrell.

Jeff Bridges stars as Bad Blake, a boozy, broken-down singer who reaches for salvation with the help of Jean, a journalist who discovers the real man behind the music. But will Bad's hard-livin' ways and crazy heart cost him his last chance at a comeback? A raw and realistic story adapted from the highly praised novel by Thomas Cobb, the film is a portrait of a man who has lived hard, fast and recklessly, but still goes after the salvation of love when his heart gets what appears to be one last chance to redeem itself.
