How accurately does the title Deception depict what is going on in this movie? Or does the title describe the film's relationship with the audience?

Marcel Langenegger: It is both. The whole thing is a con film, especially in the set up. So nothing is as it seems. It actually happens in both directions. As you know, Hugh Jackman plays the bad guy and Ewan McGregor plays the good guy. At one point the role switches. It is a very balanced back and forth.

Warner Bros. Acquires ‘The Tourist’

Warner Bros. has picked up the movie rights to The Tourist, an upcoming book by two-time Edgar Award nominee Olen Steinhauer, for George Clooney and Grant Heslov to produce via their Smoke House production company, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Picked up in early manuscript form, the story is described as being a contemporary international thriller in the vein of John le Carre and Graham Greene and follows a spy who must risk everything to reveal a conspiracy after he's suspected of a murder he didn't commit.
