Demolition Man Review

“Too Bad Stallone & Snipes Only Duelled Once!”

February 17th, 2011

This is action like we wanna see it: extremely violent and with nice visuals. Story is good enough for a movie like this, but what really pulls this film to a higher level is the duel between Stallone and Snipes. Stallone plays his character like he always does: tough and extremely cool. Snipes is one big violent monkey, just shooting up the place.

Also very good are the quotes, especially does from Wesley Snipes, a few examples:

- "Simon says bleed!"

- "Simon says die!"

Stallone is also a quote expert:

- "Send a maniac to catch a maniac."

I enjoyed this movie. 3,5 stars.

I enjoyed the DVD and still enjoy rewatching it whenever I am in the mood for a bit of mayhem. I really liked the comedy effects of the misunderstandings between Stallone's character's time and the "up-to-date" version of the century in which he was thawed.

cool review. always loved this movie. it's the perfect balance between sci-fi, action, and some great comedic elements. the utopian society is hilarious. i always wondered what happened to the writers of this movie and the director? why didnt they do more movies?

still, this one is great and one of stallones last great movies before he went into b-movie hell in the 90's. good stuff!
