Special Red Sox Version of ‘Fever Pitch’ Coming to DVD

According to The Hollywood Reporter, exploiting the film's Boston Red Sox theme, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment on September 13 will release a special DVD of the Farrelly Brothers' Fever Pitch, adding an extended ending with four more minutes from the team's real-life World Series win.

Fever Pitch, based on the novel by Nick Hornby, stars Jimmy Fallon as an obsessed Red Sox fan whose passion for the team tosses a curveball into his relationship with a beautiful new girlfriend (Drew Barrymore) -- particularly when the team, against all odds, makes it to the World Series.
