First Sunday

In this hilarious comedy, Durell (Ice Cube) and LeeJohn (Tracy Morgan) are best friends and bumbling petty criminals. When told they have one week to pay a $17,000 debt or Durell will lose his son, they come up with a desperate scheme to rob their neighborhood church. Instead, they end up spending the night in the presence of the Lord and are forced to deal with much more than they bargained for.

The all-star cast also includes Katt Williams as Rickey, the flamboyant church choir-director, Chi McBride as the Pastor, Malinda Williams as his outspoken daughter and Regina Hall as the mother of Durell's son.

‘First Sunday’ Brings the Laughs to DVD and Blu-Ray on May 6th

Bring home some Ice Cube comedy in two formats this May. First Sunday is coming to DVD and Blu-Ray on May 6. The standard version will be priced at $28.95 SRP and the Blu-Ray will go for $38.96 SRP. The film stars Ice Cube, Tracey Morgan, Katt Williams and Chi McBride.

Ice Cube and Tracy Morgan are two thieves who haven't got a prayer in First Sunday, a sinfully, funny comedy co-starring Katt Williams and Chi McBride. Sentenced to 5,000 hours of community service, Durell Jefferson's (Cube) life quickly goes from bad to worse. Realizing that the Lord helps those who help themselves, he eventually decides to help himself to the neighborhood church's building fund. Accompanied by his dimwitted partner-in-crime LeeJohn (Morgan), the two down-on-their-luck men are dismayed to discover the cash has already been stolen, so they hold the congregation hostage in a Hail Mary attempt to learn who amongst the righteous has already run away with their loot! Also starring Tiffany New York Pollard, Rickey Smiley, Loretta Devine and Malinda Williams.

Cube stated, "I want Chris Tucker to come back. I would love for him to do that. We've talked about it. And that is as much as he wants me to say about it right now."
