Each spellbinding Harry Potter Ultimate Edition is filled with more than four hours of special features and collectibles including a photo book featuring 44 pages of rare photos of the cast and crew, concept sketches and paintings, and behind-the-scenes insight. The Ultimate Editions also feature limited edition character cards, a lenticular card and a bonus digital copy of the film.

‘Harry Potter’ Movies Being Converted for 3D Blu-ray Release

We reported last week that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I will not be converted to 3D in time for its theatrical release date. Today, Variety is reporting that Warner Bros. and their DVD division, Warner Home Video, will instead focus on converting two previous Potter movies, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince for 3D Blu-ray.

Work has already started on Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince at Prime Focus London, with the company's Hollywood and India facilities chipping in as well. Prime Focus was the company behind the rushed 3D conversion of Warner Bros.' Clash of the Titans, although it was said that they are taking their time with these new Potter conversions.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Begins!

All eyes are on Orlando, Florida this week for the long awaited grand opening of "The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter," a new theme park based on the phenomenally successful series of children's books and beloved films, which include Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and the upcoming final chapters of the series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II. The attraction is located at Universal Orland Resort's Islands Of Adventure, which is their literary themed park that also features Dr. Seuss and Marvel Comics inspired rides and stores.

While the park doesn't officially open until today, Friday June 18th, it has had a soft opening since Monday allowing some special fans and media to be the first to experience this incredible new amusement park. We had the rare opportunity to travel to Orlando to be among those lucky few and even attended the exclusive red carpet gala celebration Wednesday night. The event was attended by hundreds of guests including lucky fans, family of the park's staff, media, creators of the park, executives from both Warner Bros. and NBC/Universal including Jeff Zucker and Alan Horn, as well as the filmmakers, the cast of the films, and of course the author and creator of the books, J.K. Rowling.

‘Harry Potter’ Film Marathon Happening in New York City

Clearview Cinemas today announced that it will feature a six-day exclusive engagement featuring all five Harry Potter films at the legendary Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City, from December 19 to December 24. During the event's opening weekend, the Harry Potter films will be shown for more than 12 consecutive hours in order of when the films were released, starting at 10 a.m. each day with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and concluding with Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

Tickets are on sale now at the Ziegfeld Theatre box office at 141 West 54th Street in New York City and online at ClearViewCinemas.com.
