New ‘Justice League: War’ Clip Introduces Darkseid

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment released the highly-anticipated DC Universe Animated Original Movie Justice League: War on Blu-ray & DVD earlier today. Before you head out to pick up a copy for yourself, the studio has released one final clip, which shows Superman (voiced by Alan Tudyk), Batman (voiced by Jason O'Mara) Wonder Woman (voiced by Michelle Monaghan), Green Lantern (voiced by Justin Kirk), The Flash (voiced by Christopher Gorham), Cyborg (voiced by Shemar Moore) and Shazam (voiced by Sean Astin) trying to defeat the powerful villain Darkseid (voiced by Steve Blum). In addition, we also have five new photos, and interview clips with Shemar Moore, who discusses telling Cyborg's origin story, finding the right voice for the character, how much fun it is to portray Cyborg, and how he would look in a superhero outfit.

True Detective star Michelle Monaghan makes her animation voiceover debut as Wonder Woman in Justice League: War, the highly-anticipated DC Universe Animated Original Movie arriving from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment on Tuesday, February 4. Last night, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment held the world premiere of Justice League: War, an adaptation of DC's New 52 comic book "Origins" by Geoff Johns and Jim Lee, where the studio revealed plans for more New 52 adaptations, including a future movie that was teased in an end credits scene. Since the adaptation replaced Aquaman with Shazam as a founding member of the Justice League, this scene reveals that the studio has much bigger plans for Aquaman.

Warner Bros. announced at Comic-Con 2013 that one of their next DC Universe animated movies will be Justice League: War, debuting on Blu-ray and DVD sometime in 2014. Although the studio still hasn't announced a release date, the first trailer has arrived from this superhero ensemble. Alan Tudyk and Jason O'Mara lead an all-star voice cast as Superman and Batman, who team up with Wonder Woman (Michelle Monaghan), The Flash (Christopher Gorham) and Green Lantern (Justin Kirk) to stop an alien invasion from destroying Earth. COMIC-CON 2013: ‘Son of the Batman’ and ‘Batman: Assault on Arkham’ Announced for 2014

Last night at Comic-Con 2013, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment held the world premiere of their latest DC Universe animated movie, Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox, which will be released on Blu-ray and DVD July 30. During the event, the studio announced the next two animated movies in this series, Son of the Batman and Batman: Assault on Arkham, both slated for release in 2014.

Before those two Batman movies debut next year, Justice League: War will be released, although a specific release date was not given. Justice League: War is based on the "New 52" comic Justice League Volume 1: Origin, written by Geoff Johns and Jim Lee.
