“A Kick-Ass Masterpiece”
July 2nd, 2011
Opening Words: Well I Watch this and well i thought it was horrible... yea right this movie is not only the greatest super movie of all time right now it is the greatest movie of all time right now.
Plot: Dave Lizewski is an unnoticed high school student and comic book fan with a few friends and who lives alone with his father. His life is not very difficult and his personal trials not that overwhelming. However, one day he makes the simple decision to become a super-hero even though he has no powers or training.
Acting/characters: Acting Is Superb From Everyone Aaron Johnson Is Great at playing Kick Ass he is a character i think allot of people will relate to he is invisible to most people he exist just to exist. Nicolas Cage as Big Daddy is probably the best part of the movie this is Nicolas Cage's best performance so far he is a revenge psycho in this who trains his to daughter to be as psycho as him. Well I wouldt say he is psycho but he is bad ass. Chloe Moretz As Hit Girl Steals the damn movie she is the best part of the movie i mean her character has the best lines the best action scenes the best everything this that little girl u dont want to fuck with if this is how she is young imagine her when she gets older(run!). Anyway The bad guy is Mark Strong who plays Frank D'Amico a generic bad guy yet I still like the character. Why? Because he lets his son become the Red Mist(played by Christopher Mintz-Plasse) so he can kill kick ass because he thinks Kick Ass is killing his guys. Well Later he founds out it is Big Daddy and later he captures Kick Ass And Big Daddy and i wont tell u want happens.
Script: Well done Jane Goldman and Matthew Vaughn did a great job on it not much more to say.
Direction: Matthew Vaughn Did a great job to balance action comedy and drama and pop culture reference's.
Overall: This Movie is a masterpiece. My only problem is this movie should have been called Hit Girl
