4 Board ‘Law Abiding Citizen’

Michael Gambon, Leslie Bibb, Colm Meaney and Theresa Randle have boarded the Film Department thriller Law Abiding Citizen. They join previously cast Gerard Butler and Jamie Foxx in the F. Gary Gray-directed vigilante movie.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Longest Yard screenwriter Sheldon Turner recently came on to do production work on the script as the film chugs toward its Jan. 21 start date in Philadelphia.

F. Gary Gray to Direct ‘Law Abiding Citizen’

F. Gary Gray could be set to abide. According to Variety, director F. Gary Gray is in negotiations to direct Law Abiding Citizen. The director would replace Frank Darabont, who recently left the project.

Gray was in negotiations to direct Armored, which stars Eric Bana, but since Law Abiding Citizen, which stars Gerard Butler and Jamie Foxx, is slated for a December production start, another director will likely be needed for Armored.
