Master Harold... and the Boys

Ving Rhames is taking on the lead role in the big-screen adaptation of Athol Fugard's 1982 play "Master Harold... and the Boys," a role Danny Glover originated on Broadway. Rhames will play Sam, a dignified, noble waiter who is a father figure to young Hally (Freddie Highmore). South African actor Patrick Mofokeng rounds out the cast as Willie, a younger, more lighthearted waiter who is preparing for a ballroom dancing competition.

The title role will be played by Thomas Sangster.
