The studio has also issued a May 13, 2016 release date for an unspecified R-rated comedy. Since the date falls on roughly the same weekend as their current comedy hit Neighbors, there is speculation that the date could be reserved for a sequel which hasn't been officially announced yet.

Gossip Girl and Chuck executive producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage have signed on to write and produce Universal's long gestating adaptation Monster High.
We first reported on this project back in June 2010, when Smallville creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar signed on to write the screenplay, although they are no longer involved. No plot details were released, but the story will be based on Mattel's toy line of the same name, which features the teenage children of iconic monsters.
