Warner Bros. 2009 Sneak Preview

Warner Bros. Pictures has released their slate of 2009 movie releases including The Dark Knight, Inkheart, He's Just Not That Into You, Friday the 13th, Under the Sea 3D, Watchmen, Observe and Report, 17 Again, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, Terminator Salvation, Hangover, My Sister's Keeper, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Orphan, Shorts, Final Destination: Death Trip 3D, Whiteout, The Informant, Where the Wild Things Are, The Box and Ninja Assassin.

The follow-up to the action hit Batman Begins, The Dark Knight reunites director Christopher Nolan and star Christian Bale, who reprises the role of Batman/Bruce Wayne. In the new film, Batman raises the stakes in his war on crime. With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman sets out to dismantle the remaining criminal organizations that plague the city streets. The partnership proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a reign of chaos unleashed by a rising criminal mastermind known to the terrified citizens of Gotham as The Joker.

Jason Patric and Thomas Dekker Join ‘My Sister's Keeper’

Jason Patric and Thomas Dekker have been added to My Sister's Keeper for New Line, joining Cameron Diaz, Abigail Breslin, Alec Baldwin and Joan Cusack in the drama.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, director Nick Cassavetes' adaptation of Jodi Picoult's novel follows a former district attorney (Diaz) and her fireman husband (Patric) who are sued by their 13-year-old daughter (Breslin) for emancipation.

Two to Star in ‘My Sister's Keeper’

Abigail Breslin has just signed on to replace Elle Fanning in My Sister's Keeper. According to Variety, Sofia Vassilivea is in negotiations to replace Dakota Fanning in the New Line Cinema drama directed by Nick Cassavetes.

Production for My Sister's Keeper is scheduled to start in March.

Alec Baldwin Joins the Cast of ‘My Sister's Keeper’

According to Variety, Alec Baldwin (30 Rock) will join Cameron Diaz, Dakota Fanning and Elle Fanning in My Sister's Keeper, the Nick Cassavetes-directed adaptation of the Jodi Picoult novel for New Line.

Baldwin will play the attorney who represents a child (Elle Fanning) after she sues her parents for emancipation on the grounds they bred her to be a genetic match who could prolong the life of her cancer-ridden sister (Dakota Fanning). The girl's mother (Diaz) is a former trial lawyer and represents herself in court.
