Napoleon Dynamite Review

“Are You Kidding Me?”

November 14th, 2007

This is by far the worst movie i have ever seen in my life. This was so boring and pointless. My girlfriends little brother at 5 even found this boring. This was a complete waste of time. Please make films that at least have point behind them

    @XxNickTheFilmCriticXx Oh, ok. I suppose I took the comment incorrectly. But I do agree that the Resident Evil series is flawed, poorly written at some times, and no where near critically acclaimed. I enjoy that series, as well as other "good movies" too. But maybe I'm just all too forgiving when it comes to some movies.

        @XxNickTheFilmCriticXx Actually I think I may have rated the other two movies lower than you did!

                @mcleve02 -- Have you watched all of the movies from my "Movies I Abhor" list?

                  @crypt -- Of course. I just used that title as an example; to show I wasn't the only one that thought it was on the borderline of outstanding. Not to deject your enjoyment, but I've seen three of the Resident Evil's, and they're flat-out bad. Albeit, the second one wasn't a complete pain.

                        @PRwdLEBBzl4qzF haha dude, this movie makes no sense at all.

                        @PR6Nr9br7Plm99 I was debating posting anything @ you at all, seeing as though your comment was about a week ago, however I feel the need to state that everyone has their own opinion. Just because critics acclaim something, does not automatically mean everyone should like it. Of course there are circ*mstances such as movies you mentioned where Resident Evil and No Country for Old Men being compared. The obvious win is No Country for Old Men. But Resident Evil is a guilty pleasure, and I just had a lot of fun watching that series, even if it is nowhere near Oscar worthy.

                          @mcleve02, @crypt: I saw this movie a long time ago, but I remembered NOT liking it at all. I can't stand Jon Heder. My sister likes this movie though.

                                @slysnide He is not funny... he is quite honestly a waste of space in Hollywood and I wish a bus would hit him...

                                  @XxNickTheFilmCriticXx: I love "NCFOM." Excellent film and novel. Read it in one sitting. And while I agree that how I saw "ND" is no way to watch a movie, it was still obviously terrible enough to the point where we all could come to the same conclusions on it. I just don't find Jon Heder funny at all.

                                    @XxNickTheFilmCriticXx haha they contribute for sure!!! I loved some of the acting more than anything in that film... I see your point

                                      @mcleve02 -- Nah, we still have the Resident Evil, Twilight, and Paranormal Activity movies at the top of the list.

                                      I also love "No Country For Old Men", a critically-acclaimed film that a good amount of people proclaim to be one of the worst movies of all-time. Another reason why I don't understand them.

                                          @slysnide -- That's no way to watch a movie.

                                          @mcleve02 -- I must be one of the only people on the planet that actually enjoyed this movie. Overall, I thought it was okay, but it thrived on awkward humor, and dull/ridiculous characters. Oh, and that dance.

                                          I also find it funny that some of the people that commented hated this movie, but adore movies that are a lot worse. I don't get people, honestly.
