‘Prom Night’ Slashes Up to DVD and Blu-Ray on August 19th

You can enjoy a much different (and violent) high school tradition on DVD and Blu-Ray this August. Prom Night will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on August 19. We have no cover art as of yet, but the movie will be released in a theatrical rated version ($29.96 SRP) an unrated version ($29.96 SRP) and Blu-Ray version ($38.96 SRP). The film stars Brittany Snow and Johnathon Schaech.

Prom Night was released April 11th, 2008.

Box Office Beat Down: ‘Prom Night’ Slaughters the Weekend with $22.7 Million

This week's other two big releases didn't fare quite as well. The David Ayer directed cop thriller Street Kings landed in second place with just $12 million, while Smart People hit way down in seventh place with $4.2 million.

Next week will see the release of the comedy Forgetting Sarah Marshall, the horror film Pathology, and the kung fu adventure Forbidden Kingdom.
