Source Code

Now if you have read my review Zodiac you know that I am a really big fan of Jake Gyllenhaal and when I saw the trailer I was really looking forward to this movie and I just got it on Blu Ray and I love this movie. It is everything I wanted it to be. So the story of this movie is great everything about is good I just love the idea of trying to change the future to stop a event that has not happened yet. The thing I loved the most is that every time Jake Gyllenhaal goes back in time things look the same but there is always somthing diffrent and I just liked the way the movie showed that. If I had any problems with the story it would be that the movie is way to short and at times I with they would have went into how the Source Code works and it never really says. I also didnt like that somtime when Jake Gyllenhaal it would just show the train blow up I wish it would show what happen to get to that point but like I said the movie is way to short it is only 1 hour and 33 minutes long with the credits and I wish it was longer, movies like this have to be 2 and a half hours long. Juts thik if Inception was only 1 hour and 33 minutes long it would have sucked, but it was a prefect length and that is how long this movie should be. The acting is great Jake Gyllenhaal like always does a great job and the why he acts it makes you want his character to be safe and finish the objective. Michelle Monaghan is great and very sweet as Christina, but I think she was really under used. Also that hot chick from The Departed is in this I think her name is Vera Farmiga and she did really well, she didnt have lots of screen time but I think she had just the right ammount to get the job done. Jeffrey Wright is in this and I really didnt car for him I think every time it showed him it was really boring. The Direction is really really good the director does a really good job of making you feel like you are on this adventure with Jake Gyllenhaal. The visuals are great and not over used ther are used at the right time and are really affective when they are on screen.

Overall I loved this movie it is one of the best of this year and I hope you see it. Even if it is to shor and some people dont really need to be in the movie it is still a great time so 4.0/5.0 stars for Source Code
