Halle Berry Introduces a New Trailer for ‘The Call’

Halle Berry is literally 'phoning it in' in the latest trailer for The Call, a new thriller from The Machinist director Brad Anderson. In this edgy drama, Berry plays a 911 operator who must stay on the line with a young woman who has been kidnapped in order to save her life. Watch as Halle introduces the clip, and then hang onto your seat, its going to be a bumpy ride (for the abductee anyway, Halle Berry seems to stay seated until the third act).

‘The Call’ Trailer Starring Halle Berry

Sony Pictures has debuted the first trailer and a new photo from The Call (formerly known as The Hive), the latest from director Brad Anderson (The Machinist, Vanishing on 7th Street). Halle Berry stars as Jordan, a 911 operator who receives a call from a young girl (Abigail Breslin) who has been abducted. Jordan soon begins to realize this girl has been taken by a dangerous figure from her past, who she must confront to save the girl's life. Check out the first footage and photo from this white-knuckle thriller, also starring Morris Chestnut and Michael Imperioli.

Abigail Breslin Enters ‘The Hive’

Oscar-nominee Abigail Breslin has boarded Troika Pictures' thriller, The Hive. We reported that Halle Berry joined the project earlier this month.

The film follows an emergency operator who must confront a killer from her past, in order to save a young girl's life. Halle Berry is playing the 911 operator alongside the actress, who is portraying the young girl. The project is based on an original idea by writers Richard D'Ovidio, Nicole D'Ovidio, and Jon Bokencamp.

‘The Hive’ Lands Halle Berry

Actress Halle Berry has joined the cast of The Hive for Trokia Pictures, Sony Pictures, and director Brad Anderson.

The fast-paced thriller is set in a 911 emergency call center, and focuses on Halle Berry's character, a 911 operator who tries to save a teenage girl from a serial killer, even if it means she must face her own fears in the process. Back in April, Joel Schumacher was set to direct, although he later dropped out. Brad Anderson (The Machinist, Transsiberian) stepped in to direct in January.
