With The Hunger Games movies still going strong, spoof masters Aaron Seltzer and Jason Friedberg attempt to take the franchise down a notch with The Starving Games, debuting on DVD January 21. Maiara Walsh and Brant Daugherty star as Kantmiss Evershot and her longtime friend Dale in the comedy, which also takes shots at Avatar, Marvel's The Avengers and The Expendables. Cinematic terrorists Aaron Seltzer and Jason Friedberg, known for such classic film deconstruction visual essays as Meet the Spartans, Disaster Movie, Vampires Suck, and the upcoming The Biggest Movie of All Time 3D, are reuniting for yet another spoof of pop culture, this time taking aim at The Hunger Games.
