    Diane, a young and attractive archaeologist, gets to know Dr. Neal Hogan in the secret archives at the Vatican. Both of them are interested in the great mystery that Diane's father, the famous scientist Dr. Shannon, must have uncovered in Africa -- because since that time her father has not been seen by a living soul. Nevertheless, Diane is absolutely convinced that her father is still alive: he was looking for the "tower of the first born", which according to ancient records is supposed to lead to "great wisdom". Ignoring her friends' warnings, Diane decides to travel off in search of her father and find the legendary tower. Also in search of the monument -- which has contained secret knowledge about space and time for millennia -- are a sheik's horde of wild desert riders, as well as a heavily-armed group of soldiers under the command of the brave officer Léon. Together with her protector Rashid, an mysterious prince of the desert and old friend of her father's whom she knows from her youth, Diane withstands great dangers, and finally comes face-to-face with her missing father...     Small-timer Fei (Louis Koo), his harried buddy Sam (Simon Yam), and antique store owner Mok (Sun Hong Lei) are all in desperate need of money. Fei wants his friend to drive a robbery getaway car but Sam backs out, throwing Fei in trouble with the triads. As the three are arguing, a mysterious man leaves them a map, leading them to an unlikely treasure under the Legislative Council building. All their financial woes seem to be solved after a late-night heist, but they are being tracked by shady cop Wen (Lam Ka-Tung), who is carrying on an affair with Sam's emotionally unstable wife, Ling (Kelly Lin), and has connections with Fei. When the twisted relationship tangles come to light, the brotherhood dangerously breaks down and the treasure ends up in the wrong hands.

He gets involved in this girl's family affairs, rescuing both her and her mother from prostitution and gangsters headed by a man called Bajo, and the new group of people return to the small village in time to celebrate Živojin's wedding to his neighbor, despite the gangsters' best efforts to stop the celebration, which results in a double wedding .
