Why do they insist on casting people with no acting ability in leading roles of good movies: Jessica Alba in 'The Eye', (many others that i can't remember), and now this, if we were looking for a movie for the 'eye candy', then we wouldn't watch movies that seem to have a good plot.

pick-up your game Hollywood - on the rare occasions that you manage to create a storyline that is truly worth watching, you find some way to cheapen or otherwise ruin it!

I didn't know that Diaz was the star. I just read the synopsis on a thread about the film. Now that you mention that, and upon rereading the synopsis, then this could easily turn out to be one of those terrible and awfully cheezy "Lifetime" original movies.

hey i just remembered that Gangs of New York had Cameron Diaz and i loved that movie (though maybe just because it was a Scorsese AND it had Daniel Day-Lewis), well in any case, all i know is i am looking forward to this film and Cameron Diaz has a tendency to APPEAR in bad films

I'm also looking forward to this movie however i have my doubts as it stars Cameron Diaz and i've never really considered her to be a very good actress - infact, i might even go as far to say that she has a knack for making movies bad... sorry, just my opinion

This sounds relatively interesting. Instead of the few for the many, it's one for another. I like it. And the whole concept of this mysterious box is also intriguing. What is it? What's it look like? Where'd it come from? Will the family or friends of the dead guy seek out revenge? Will Norma follow through with trying to make up for what she did? How do you solve a murder that you caused w/out revealing that you caused it? How is the sudden & random motive of the killer explained reasonably w/out finding out about Norma & the box? How did the box come to be in Norma's possession? What does Arthur think about Norma's pushing the button? All of these are good reasons for seeing this. I'll certainly follow up this flick.
