Charming and proficient as a hired gun, Martin Q. Blank (Cusak) has established a lucrative business, specializing in assassinations. Although extremely successful, he begins to realize that his life still lacks meaning. In his earnest search to find "fulfillment and truth," he decides to return home to Grosse Pointe, Michigan, for his ten year high school reunion, where he plans to reunite with Debi (Driver), the girl he left behind, as well as doing "one last hit." Martin's past and present collide when his arch rival, Grocer (Aykroyd), shows up with plans to erase his future in this point blank comedy.
