Like other celebrated rock-and-roll groups, the members of the legendary group The Country Bears were torn apart by the perils of their own success: ego, jealousy, and a little too much honey. The Country Bears - brothers Ted and Fred Bedderhead, Tennessee O'Neal, and Zeb Zoober - are back together to film their first major motion picture. "The Country Bears" is the story of how eager young fan Beary Barrington can convince the bitter ex-members of the rock band to put aside their differences and perform a benefit concert to save Country Bear Hall, the legendary venue where the band got its start. Featuring music and appearances by real-life rock-and-roll legends Don Henley, John Hiatt, Elton John, Queen Latifah, Willie Nelson, Bonnie Raitt, and Brian Setzer, audiences will want to bring the cubs to the biggest rock `n roll reunion in history.

Over 75 million people have seen The Country Bear Jamboree, one of the best-loved attractions at Disney theme parks around the world.

Concept drawings for the characters in The Country Bear Jamboree were originally done in the 1960s by long-time studio animator Marc Davis for the lobby of a ski resort that Walt Disney planned to build in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The ski resort was never built, but the ideas from Davis' sketches eventually became "The Country Bear Jamboree" at Walt Disney World in 1971. The characters were so popular with visitors that similar attractions were built in Disney's other parks.

THE COUNTRY BEAR JAMBOREE opened at the Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom on October 1, 1971, as the first major park attraction to debut at Walt Disney World. The attraction features 18 Audio-Animatronics bears in a tuneful country music show. The Country Bear Jamboree was later built as a Bear Country attraction at Disneyland, opening on March 24, 1972, and inspired two new shows, Country Bear Christmas Special (debuting in November 1984) and The Country Bear Vacation Hoedown (first appearing in February 1986), which now run seasonally each year.
