Imagine the hijinks that ensue when a fast-talking, disenchanted African American waiter (Martin Lawrence) at a medieval-themed restaurant is transported back through time to the Middle Ages. Once there he teams with an ex-knight and a peasant girl to defeat an evil king. Sounds similar to A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court.
