In Case of Emergency's Nayo Wallace has just signed onto one of next summer's biggest projects. According to Variety, the actress will be acting alongside Emile Hirsh and John Goodman in Warner Brothers' Speed Racer.
Based on the classic 1960s series created by anime pioneer Tatsuo Yoshida, the big-screen film will follow the adventures of the young racecar driver Speed in his quest for glory in his thundering gadget-laden vehicle, Mach 5. The movie will feature other characters from the show, including Speed's family and his mysterious archrival, Racer X. Wallace's character has yet to be revealed.
Speed Racer opens next Summer on May 9th, 2008.
