Miami Heat star LeBron James and rapper/actor Method Man have signed on to star in Trainwreck, Universal Pictures' upcoming comedy which Judd Apatow is directing.

Amy Schumer (Inside Amy Schumer) wrote the screenplay and stars as a young woman who tries to get her life back on the right track. She is joined by a diverse supporting cast including Bill Hader, Brie Larson, Colin Quinn, Vanessa Bayer, Tilda Swinton, WWE Superstar John Cena, Mike Birbiglia, recent Oscar nominee Barkhad Abdi and Jon Glaser. No details were given for any of the supporting cast members.

Barry Mendel is producing alongside Judd Apatow, although no production schedule was given.

This project continues Universal's affiliation with LeBron James, after the studio acquired the rights for a feature based on his high school playing days in Ohio. He is also attached to star in Ballers, another Universal comedy which pairs him up with Kevin Hart. LeBron James is also teaming up with Starz for the comedy series Survivor's Remorse.
