While most comedy sequels never live up to the original, Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising may finally be the exception to the rule. It's sticking pretty close to the formula that made the original 2014 comedy Neighbors such a hit, while also bringing a finely tuned twist. Not to mention some heavy artillery in the form of new cast members. First, the very popular Chloe Moretz was added as the leader of a sorority who moves in next-door to a married couple played by Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne. Now, Chloe Moretz's sorority sister has been revealed, and it's Selena Gomez!

Yes, the former Disney princess turned Spring Breaker is going to be throwing one massive hissy fit on the lawn of her sorority house, and E! was on the scene as shooting got under way. They even shared a photo of Selena Gomez as production continued through the night on the Atlanta set. The casting has not been formerly announced, but it looks like the secret is out!

Right now, the full plot of Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising is being kept under wraps. All of the major players are returning for more hijinks, though this time out, Zac Efron's Teddy will be coming to Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne's rescue as he helps concoct a plan to irradiate the new sorority that has just moved in next-door. It's expected that Dave Franco will also return to reprise his role as Teddy's BFF. Nick Stoller will direct, returning alongside original screenwriters Andrew Jay Cohen and Brendan O'Brien.

From the set, E! gathered more intel, revealing that Selena Gomez is playing a character named Madison, who is actually the sorority arch-rival and nemesis to Chloe Moretz's Morgan. Madison wants to dethrone Morgan, and is gathering a secret army of sorority soldiers. She plans to make her move during Rush week, hoping to topple the society president. As you'll see in the photo below, she decides to make a big entrance while the freshmen are visiting her sorority house. This all leads to a big song and dance number.

Selena Gomez will give the comedy a flawless rendition of 'Come and Get It' from the hood of a shiny red Volkswagen. Meanwhile, Morgan scowls away at this intrusion, plotting her revenge. It is not quite clear how Zac Efron, Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne play into all of this. But it's not hard to imagine Teddy becoming a traitor and switching sides, or playing like Clint Eastwood in a For a Few Dollars More, offering his serves to both sides without ever letting the other party know.

Ike Barinholtz and Carla Gallo are returning from the original Neighbors. Other new cast additions include Kiersey Clemons and Elizabeth 'Beanie' Feldstein. Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and James Weaver are returning to produce under their Point Grey banner. The original Neighbors was a blockbuster summer smash when it debuted last year, pulling in $269 million worldwide. Universal will release the sequel on May 20, 2016. Will Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising prove to be an even bigger hit?
