While we keep hearing that its going to happen, not much has been said about the upcoming Pee Wee Herman movie that Judd Apatow is producing for star Paul Reubens. Speaking at Loyola Marymount University on March 12, Apatow revealed that the long awaited big screen return of Pee Wee is very close to happening.

The script is being written by Paul Reubens and friend Paul Rust (best known for his starring role in I Love You, Beth Cooper). One of the tentative titles for the movie is Pee Wee Takes a Holiday. While that could change, its clear that Pee Wee will being going on some type of trip in the movie.

Here is what Judd Apatow had to say:

"We've kicked around a couple of titles. Pee Wee Takes a Holiday...that was one of them. But we have a great script that he wrote with a friend of mine, Paul Rust and I think we're probably going to get to do that soon.
