While eager fans anticipate the release of Watchmen on DVD, Watchmen Special Edition Director's Cut DVD and Blu-ray, it seems an even bigger set will come out at the end of the year. The HD Room received an early copy of Watchmen on DVD and are reporting that there's a small flier inside promoting a new Ultimate Collector's Edition that will be released in December.

The flier reveals that this will be a whopping five-disc set and that the set will include a whole new film that will not only consist of the Director's Cut, but will also implement the short animated film Tales of the Black Freighter into the film. That animated tale was released on a separate DVD in March after the film's theatrical release.

It also indicates that users who sign up with the WB Insider Rewards program (WatchmenMovie.WarnerBros.com/Rewards) will receive a coupon good for $10 off this Ultimate Collector's Edition set, which will surely cost a pretty penny. Take a look at these flier images below.

Watchmen will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on July 21.
