Luke Ford Signed on for Three More The Mummy Films

Source:  Bloody-Disgusting
It seems that a popular action franchise is taking on a younger lead actor. According to Bloody-Disgusting, Luke Ford, who plays Brendan Fraser's son in The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, told the site he has signed on for three additional films in the franchise.

It was said that Ford was the real focus of The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor and it's possible that Ford may be the star of subsequent Mummy films.

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor opens nationwide on August 1. We'll have more on this story as more information comes in.

Once the main character (Fraser) drops out of doing any more, you'd think they'd realise to call it a day. But not in Hollywood, the main character is replaced, and the franchise carries on regardless. Like I said, I agree with SC. The franchise will go down a pan if they make more than 3. Sadly, you know they will.

I've seen The Mummy. I've never seen "The Mummy Returns" cuz i never have a chance too. I hope they show it on TV before the thrid comes out. But three more? Holy Shit. Six Mummy Movies. I think thats a little too much. I'll watch them but i just hope they have good idea's stored for us. The third one looks okay. i'll see it in the movies if i like the second one.
